There's no place like home for Princeton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Mendota Trojans on Monday. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 8-7 win the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Tyler Forristall tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, Ace Christiansen was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nolan Kloepping, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Princeton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matches.

Princeton's record is now 3-4-1. As for Mendota, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Princeton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Monmouth-Roseville on the 19th. As for Mendota, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-8 draw against Hinckley-Big Rock on the 15th.
