After a string of three wins, Eudora's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Timberwolves when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13.

Braydee Miller paced Eudora's offense, picking up ten kills. Miller got some help from Arianna Etter and her seven assists. Etter also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Avery Hemphill, each putting up two.

Blue Valley Southwest's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Catlin Shao, who had 18 assists and three digs. Shao has been hot, having posted 15 or more assists the last seven times she's played. Evelyn Igbenebor also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Eudora's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Blue Valley Southwest, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Eudora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Gardner-Edgerton on the 27th. As for Blue Valley Southwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Junction City on the 27th.
