Softball Recap: Rochester Comes Up Short

Rochester was the 12-8 winner over Elma when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Eagles on Thursday, falling 13-4. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Rochester saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addi Morgan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Rochester's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Elma, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8.

Looking ahead, Rochester will be playing in front of their home fans against Cashmere at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elma, they will square off against Naches Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rangers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.89 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
