Softball Recap: Hubbard Comes Up Short

Hubbard lost against Phillips on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Greyhounds came up short against the Wildcats, falling 13-2. The contest marked the Greyhounds' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Hubbard and nudges their season record down to 2-3-1. As for Phillips, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hubbard will head out to take on Dunbar at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last seven games the Mightymen have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Phillips, they are taking a road trip to square off against Julian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
