            Volleyball Recap: Carrizo Springs Wildcats vs. Del Rio Rams        
        
		
        
        
            Carrizo Springs was the  3-1 winner over Del Rio when they last played one another  last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats came up short against  the Rams on Tuesday, falling  3-0.
 While Carrizo Springs was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-17,  25-16.
 Paulina Lira paced Carrizo Springs' offense, picking up six kills. Lira got some help from  Joselyn DeLuna and her 12 assists. Finally,  Kaylyn Martinez and  Jennay Davila kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.
Carrizo Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Del Rio,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carrizo Springs will take on Laredo LBJ at 9:00  a.m.  on Friday. As for Del Rio, they will venture away from home to  take on Crystal City  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
