Softball Recap: Corinth Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Corinth can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lafayette Commodores by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Commodores this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-0 defeat on Thursday.

Corinth now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Lafayette, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-6.

While Corinth had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
