Football Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brentwood Bruins. The contest was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Admirals couldn't quite close it out.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Brentwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Franklin will square off against rival Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brentwood is set to take on their familiar foe Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
