Meanwhile, Athens Academy humbled Elbert County with a 55-27 victory. The Spartans are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout on Wednesday was the tenth match they've won by 20+ points this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Athens Academy and bumps their season record up to 19-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.5 points over those games. As for Banks County, their win bumped their record up to 20-5.
