Volleyball Game Preview: Eisenhower Eagles vs. Bloomington Bruins

Eisenhower hasn't had much luck against Bloomington recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Bruins at 6:00 p.m.

Eisenhower came up short against Fontana on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Bloomington posted their closest win since March 1st on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past San Gorgonio 3-2. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Bloomington took San Gorgonio into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 20-25, 20-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Bloomington now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Eisenhower suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Bloomington in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
