Football Recap: McClain Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against East Clinton last Friday, McClain came back down to earth. The Tigers were beaten by the Williamsburg Wildcats 46-13 on Friday. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Williamsburg was led to victory by Landon Hittle and Gray Robinson. Hittle gained 200 total yards and a touchdown, while Robinson rushed for 155 yards and one score while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. Hittle showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 55 yards. Troy Harris also helped with two touchdowns in total.

McClain's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Williamsburg, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, McClain will face off against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Williamsburg, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Roger Bacon at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
