After flying high against Montgomery Academy last Thursday, Lee-Scott Academy came back down to earth. The Warriors fell just short of the Wetumpka Indians by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Lee-Scott Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10-1. As for Wetumpka, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 36-4.

Looking ahead, Lee-Scott Academy will face off against Dadeville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Wetumpka, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 17-3 win against Montgomery Catholic on the 12th.
