Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wabash). Their defense stepped up to hand the Tri-Central Trojans a 4-0 shutout on Wednesday. Wabash haven't had any issues with Tri-Central recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Wabash hit Tri-Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Logan Wright (2), Raegan Jones, and Baelee Noland.

Wabash's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10-1. As for Tri-Central, they dropped their record down to 2-7-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wabash will take on Eastern at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tri-Central, they will face off against Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
