Basketball Recap: Knowledge Academies' Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road + How To Watch

While Knowledge Academies didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the KIPP Nashville Collegiate Warriors 57-33 on Tuesday. Given Knowledge Academies' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while KIPP Nashville Collegiate is ranked 360th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Knowledge Academies to victory were Marcus Amos and Travis Campbell. Amos posted 19 points, while Campbell put up 16 points. That's the most points Amos has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Elijah Anderson, who scored six points and three steals.

Knowledge Academies' win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-3. As for KIPP Nashville Collegiate, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Knowledge Academies and Stem Preparatory Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Knowledge Academies will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.71 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. KIPP Nashville Collegiate will take on Franklin Road Academy in a holiday battle at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
