Softball Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside lost to Independence back in April of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Renegades came up short against the Patriots, falling 16-2. The Renegades have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shay Bailey was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Westside now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Independence, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Westside will host Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Independence, they will head out to challenge St. Albans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
