Softball Recap: Livermore Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Aragon last Tuesday, Livermore came back down to earth. The Livermore Cowboys came up short against the College Park Falcons on Tuesday, falling 12-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cowboys have suffered since April 20, 2024.

Livermore saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maggie Pyke, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Livermore's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for College Park, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Livermore will head out on the road to face off against Patterson at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for College Park, they will welcome California at 4:00 p.m. on March 11th.
