Softball Recap: All S Triumphs

All S won the last time they faced Lamar and things went their way on Saturday too. The All S Saints walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Lamar Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.

All S got a massive performance out of Maggie Meyer, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-2. Those four stolen bases gave Meyer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bailey Toscano, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-3.

All S always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lamar only posted an OBP of .333.

All S' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lamar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

All S will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bishop Lynch at 4:30 p.m. on February 25th. As for Lamar, they have already played their next match, a 15-3 victory against Sunset on the 15th.
