Softball Recap: Prince Edward County Comes Up Short

Prince Edward County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-0 to the Lunenburg Central Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 on Tuesday.

Prince Edward County's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lunenburg Central, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Prince Edward County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-1 defeat against Amelia County on the 8th. As for Lunenburg Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-2 win against Randolph-Henry on the 8th.
