Basketball Recap: Klamath Union Takes a Loss

Klamath Union lost against Cottage Grove back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Klamath Union Pelicans fell just short of the Cottage Grove Lions by a score of 60-57. The Pelicans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Klamath Union's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cottage Grove, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Klamath Union will take on Bend at 2:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Cottage Grove, they will challenge Phoenix at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Cottage Grove's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
