Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nixon). They strolled past the South San Antonio Bobcats with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 28-13. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Mustangs with their most commanding win of the season.

Nixon was led to victory by Emiliano Hernandez and Hunter Salinas. Hernandez rushed for 64 yards and a pair of scores, while Salinas threw for 134 yards and one TD. What's more, Salinas racked up 115.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.
