Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III recap October 22, 2013

McPherson made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,113 from 4,264. The advance stemmed from a 42-13 victory over Smoky Valley last week.

The Bullpups led Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III in scoring this week by notching 42 points on the Vikings. Kyler Kinnamon threw for 62 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 109 yards in the win.

Garrett Forsberg provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Rose Hill topped Augusta. Forsberg's favorite target this week was Griffin McBride, who caught 5 passes for 55 yards.

Forsberg was a force in the backfield as the Rockets bested the Orioles.

Forsberg was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 225 yards on 25 carries as Rose Hill topped Augusta. Teammate McBride added to the ground attack by rushing for 103 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Ray Boese's team's Brett Bonar and Harrison Haydock have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Bonar has thrown for 1,035 yards this season, while Haydock has 21 catches for 416 yards. Michael Mason from Mulvane leads the league in rushing with 1,515 yards.
