Volleyball Recap: Elkton/Lake Benton Comes Up Short

Elkton/Lake Benton was the 2-0 winner over Colman-Egan when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Elks fell 3-1 to the C-E Hawks on Thursday. The Elks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elkton/Lake Benton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-20.

Elkton/Lake Benton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Colman-Egan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Elkton/Lake Benton will face off against Warner at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Colman-Egan, they will head out to face off against Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
