Pitman has gone 9-0-1 against Downey recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pitman Pride will venture away from home to take on the Downey Knights at 6:00 p.m. Pitman is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

Pitman will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Gregori, who they had gone 1-7-1 against in their nine prior meetings. Pitman blew past Gregori 7-0 on Tuesday. The score was close at the half, but the Pride pulled away in the second half with six goals.

Their offense was hitting Gregori from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Davian Lizarraga led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, neither Downey nor Turlock could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

The win made it two in a row for Pitman and bumps their season record up to 12-3-2. With that draw, Downey's record moves to 11-3-3.
