Basketball Game Preview: Bethel Bison vs. Puyallup Vikings

The Bethel Bison will venture away from home to square off against the Puyallup Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Saturday, Bethel didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Toppenish, but they still walked away with a 50-44 win.

Meanwhile, Puyallup posted their closest victory since January 18th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Enumclaw, sneaking past 47-45.

Bethel has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Puyallup, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6.

Bethel didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Puyallup when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 39-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bethel since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
