Basketball Recap: Western Beaver Takes a Loss

Western Beaver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laurel Spartans. The Golden Beavers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Western Beaver's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Laurel, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Western Beaver will be playing in front of their home fans against Rochester at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Beaver is facing Rochester at the right time seeing as Rochester is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Laurel, they will venture away from home to square off against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st.
