Baseball Game Preview: King City Mustangs vs. Rancho San Juan Trailblazers

The King City Mustangs will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

King City is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 12-1 to Soledad on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

King City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ivam Paramo, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Rancho San Juan's offense. They came up short against Soquel on Monday, falling 10-0.

King City suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Rancho San Juan when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can King City avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
