Football Recap: Fullington Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Grace Christian Academy two weeks ago, Fullington Academy came back down to earth. The Trojans had to suffer through a 66-6 loss at the hands of the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Blake Hendrickson threw for 86 yards on six of 12 attempts. Aidan Hill was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards.

Tripp Roberts produced another solid effort throwing for 200 yards and four TDs on only ten passes, while also rushing for 64 yards and one score for Sherwood Christian Academy. Another player making a difference was Chuck Lagrange, who rushed for 129 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.

Fullington Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, their record is now 8-0.

Looking ahead, Fullington Academy will challenge Vidalia Heritage Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they will square off against Grace Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
