Baseball Recap: Paradise's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Paradise's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Burney Raiders an 8-0 shutout. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bobcats as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Aydrik Stolz made a big impact no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. Stolz was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Michael Anderson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Gideon Craft, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

The win got Paradise back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Paradise and Burney will both be playing Los Molinos the next time they take the field. Burney will head out to face Los Molinos at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Paradise will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
