Basketball Recap: East Bernard Comes Up Short

If East Bernard was riding high fresh off their 64-36 takedown of Taft on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The East Bernard Brahmas took a blow against the Bay City Blackcats on Friday, falling 58-31. The Brahmas were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blackcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2020.

East Bernard's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Bay City, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-4.

East Bernard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-37 win against Palacios on the 14th. As for Bay City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-49 victory against Sweeny on the 17th.
