Basketball Recap: New Diana's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

New Diana entered their contest against Daingerfield on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The New Diana Eagles took a 55-37 bruising from the Daingerfield Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-50 on January 11th.

New Diana's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-13. As for Daingerfield, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Diana will challenge Hughes Springs at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Daingerfield has already played their next match (against Harmony), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
