Basketball Recap: High Tech CV Takes a Loss + How To Watch

High Tech CV lost against Clairemont back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bruins fell 78-66 to the Chieftains. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (63), the Bruins still had to take the loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clairemont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jake Robbins, who went 10-for-14 en route to 21 points and eight rebounds. Robbins is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Omar Rodarte, who posted 21 points and seven boards.

High Tech CV's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Clairemont, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. High Tech CV will take on El Cajon Valley in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clairemont, they will face off against West Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Chieftains will need to watch out since the Wolf Pack have now posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.
