Basketball Game Preview: Orange Lions vs. Harvey Red Raiders

The Orange Lions will head out to challenge the Harvey Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Orange is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Richmond Heights and fell 56-28. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 667th, while the Spartans are ranked 215th).

Meanwhile, Harvey played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Madison, falling 59-23. The Red Raiders were down 44-19 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Harvey has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Orange, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

Orange strolled past Harvey in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 51-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Orange since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
