Baseball Game Preview: Fort Wayne Wayne Generals vs. Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights

Fort Wayne Wayne hasn't had much luck against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Generals will head out on the road to face off against the Knights at 5:30 p.m. Fort Wayne Wayne will be strutting in after a win while Fort Wayne Bishop Luers will be coming in after a defeat.

Fort Wayne Wayne is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Fort Wayne North Side a 29-0 shutout on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Generals with their most commanding win of the season.

Roman Murillo made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Murillo was also big at the plate, earning two RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Fort Wayne Wayne: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise.
