Volleyball Recap: Halls' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Halls came into Monday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Union County Patriots by a score of 2-0 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Devils also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2018.

While Halls won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 26-24.

Halls' win bumped their record up to 6-17. As for Union County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Halls and Union County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Red Devils will take on Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (241 vs. 67). Meanwhile, Union County (ranked 294th) will meet Washburn (ranked 122nd) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
