With a playoff win on the line, Glens Falls rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They beat the Schalmont Sabres by a goal, winning 3-2. The victory was nothing new for Glens Falls as they're now sitting on four straight.

Deklin Malison and Adam Avery scored all three of Glens Falls' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Glens Falls' win bumped their record up to 11-6-1. As for Schalmont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-5-1 record this season.

Glens Falls wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Cohoes on the 1st. Schalmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
