Willow Canyon waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Queen Creek Bulldogs.

Among those leading the charge was Emory Scogin, who had 11 digs and three aces.

Scogin wasn't the only good servers: Willow Canyon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last four matches.

Willow Canyon's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Queen Creek, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Willow Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against San Pasqual on the 26th. As for Queen Creek, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Seton Catholic on the 27th.
