Football Game Preview: Graham Steers vs. Greenwood Rangers + How To Watch

Graham has gone a perfect 3-0 against Greenwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Steers are taking a road trip to face off against the Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Graham will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Graham is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over Liberty. Graham's win was all the more impressive since the Patriots were averaging only 14.25 points allowed on the season.

Jace Gill continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 257 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 123 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. Those 123 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Graham's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Thomason Burkett refused to say out of the backfield, picking up three sacks all by himself. Graham got some further help from Burkett: he picked up three sacks and made five total tackles.

Meanwhile, Greenwood put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 58-13 victory over Eagle Mountain. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rangers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Knights are ranked 243rd).

Graham's record is now 9-3. As for Greenwood, their record now sits at 12-0.

Graham strolled past Greenwood in their previous matchup back in October of 2023 by a score of 44-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Steers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
