Basketball Recap: Beachwood Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Beachwood had won three straight home games and Zo? Walters did her part to make it four on Friday. The Beachwood Bison claimed a resounding 72-40 victory over the Glenville Tarblooders thanks in part to Walters, who almost dropped a double-double on 34 points and nine rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Londyn Travis, who posted eight points and nine boards. Those eight points gave her a new career-high.

Beachwood has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points over those games. As for Glenville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Coming up, Beachwood will face off against Orange at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Glenville, they have already played their next match, a 59-21 defeat against Gilmour Academy on the 8th.
