Softball Recap: Walton Comes Up Short

Walton fell victim to Harpursville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 23-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, with their most recent defeat being a 20-0 loss back in March.

Walton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendyll McDonald, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Walton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Harpursville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Walton will venture away from home to face off against Charlotte Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Harpursville, they will challenge Unatego at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
