Basketball Recap: Hathaway Takes a Loss

Hathaway was the 48-45 winner over Lacassine when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Hathaway Hornets fell 57-50 to the Lacassine Cardinals on Friday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hathaway now has a losing record at 17-18. As for Lacassine, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-13.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bell City the next time they take the court. Lacassine will head out to face Bell City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Hathaway will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th.
