Volleyball Recap: Wetumpka Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Wetumpka waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Percy Julian Phoenix with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-7, 25-15.

Ashlynn Turner had an outrageously good game as she had 18 digs and ten aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last two matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Kimaya Lanius, who had six aces.

Wetumpka's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Percy Julian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Wetumpka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Brewbaker Tech on the 25th. Percy Julian has also already played their next match (against Park Crossing), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
