Jupiter is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over Boone. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 contests by six runs or more this season.

Avalowe Fitzgerald was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Fitzgerald wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ainsley Graybeal, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Jupiter hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Centennial never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out St. Cloud 1-0.
The result came thanks to Makayla Megnauth's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 17 consecutive appearances.
Centennial's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Jupiter, their victory bumped their record up to 21-3.
Centennial's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Jupiter has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .470. It's a different story for Centennial, though, as they've only averaged .327. Will they be able to contain Jupiter's hitters?
Everything went Jupiter's way against Centennial in their previous matchup back in April, as Jupiter made off with a 19-2 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
