Soccer Recap: Clint Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Clint challenged Fabens on Friday. The Clint Lions came up short against the Fabens Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Clint's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fabens, they moved to 1-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Clint will square off against Ysleta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ysleta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season. As for Fabens, they will face off against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fabens is facing Mountain View at the right time seeing as Mountain View is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
