Football Recap: Abby Kelley Foster Comes Up Short

Abby Kelley Foster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 22-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ayer Shirley Panthers. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Abby Kelley Foster's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ayer Shirley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Abby Kelley Foster will head out to take on Lunenburg at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will be up against the Blue Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ayer Shirley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
