Campbell Hall and Brentwood School are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2022, but likely not for long. The Vikings will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Campbell Hall is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They won by a run and slipped past Windward 10-9. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Campbell Hall got a great performance from Kyle Weaver as he pitched 7.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. What's more, Weaver posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jonah Smiedt, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryan Fowler, who went 4-for-6 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Campbell Hall kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Brentwood School, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out de Toledo 2-1 on Monday.
Sam Russakoff looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Brentwood School's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jack Kaplan, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Brentwood School is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Campbell Hall, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.
Campbell Hall couldn't quite finish off Brentwood School in their previous meeting back in April and fell 5-3. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
