Soccer Recap: Wednesday's Defeat Ends Cardinal Gibbons' Winning Streak

After flying high against North Raleigh Christian Academy last Monday, Cardinal Gibbons came back down to earth. The Crusaders fell just short of the Leesville Road Pride by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Cardinal Gibbons were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the three contests prior), but Leesville Road's defense proved too tough.
