Silas and Mount Tahoma are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Rams will welcome the T-Birds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Silas has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight defeats, while Mount Tahoma will come in with seven straight victories.

Silas made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Central Kitsap, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rams fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 25-23 on Friday. The Rams gained 72 more yards on the day, but it was the Cougars that made the best use of them.

Meanwhile, Mount Tahoma gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They walked away with a 27-14 win over Gig Harbor. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the T-Birds' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Tides are ranked 45th).

Mount Tahoma's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Silas, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
