Forsyth Home Educators waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They enjoyed a cozy 53-35 win over the Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots. The Hawks pushed the score to 44-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Forsyth Home Educators to victory, but perhaps none more so than Myriam Hofeling, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 boards. The dominant performance gave Hofeling a new career-high in rebounds. Baleigh Johnson was another key player, putting up nine points along with six boards and five steals.

Forsyth Home Educators was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.6 assists per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 8.6.

Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Leia Garrett and Anna Williams. Garrett dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Williams posted 15 points.
