Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Keilyn Sanford and Sarai Messa Lead Logos Prep Academy to Victory

There's no place like home for Logos Prep Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the CHSA HomeSchool Wolverines on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lions were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wolverines, so the Lions were just returning the favor.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Logos Prep Academy was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-8, 25-13.

Leading Logos Prep Academy to victory were Sarai Messa and Keilyn Sanford. Messa had seven digs and two aces, while Sanford had three digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Sanford a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Logos Prep Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive matchups.

Logos Prep Academy's record is now 14-11-1. As for CHSA HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logos Prep Academy will head out to challenge Divine Savior Academy - Sienna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for CHSA HomeSchool, they will venture away from home to square off against Brazosport Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th.
