Crestline hadn't done well against Lucas recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Crestline Bulldogs came out on top against the Lucas Cubs by a score of 56-45. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-42 back in January.

Lucas lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zac Winters, who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine boards. Robert Grover was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to six assists and five steals.

Crestline's record now sits at 8-11. As for Lucas, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Coming up, Crestline will be playing in front of their home fans against Ridgedale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lucas, they will head out on the road to take on Clear Fork at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
