Basketball Recap: Ypsilanti Comes Up Short

Ypsilanti was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Romulus Eagles. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2015.

Ypsilanti's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Romulus, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

Coming up, Ypsilanti will face off against Plymouth at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Romulus, they will challenge Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
